اہم فوائدیہ سانس کی اوپری نالیوں کے نزلاتی امراض اور سوزش کو روکنے میں مدد کرتی ہے۔یہ ناک اور حلق کی اندرونی جھلی کی سوزش کا علاج کرتی ہے، بشمول پھیپھڑوں کی نالیوں کی سوزش اور کالی کھانسی کے تمام مراحل۔یہ پرانی کھانسی (پھیپھڑوں کی نالیوں کی دیرینہ سوزش)، سانس کے دمہ، اور تپِ دق (سل) میں اٹھنے والے کھانسی کے دوروں کے لیے ایک مؤثر اور بلغم نکالنے والی دوا ہے۔استعمال کرنے کا طریقہ کالی کھانسی: علاج کے آغاز میں بار بار خوراک دیں، یعنی ہر آدھے سے ایک گھنٹے بعد تھوڑے سے پانی میں ۱۰ قطرے یا کھانسی کے شربت کا ایک چھوٹا چمچ دیں۔بہتر ہوگا کہ ہر ایک گھنٹے بعد کھانسی کے شربت اور کھانسی کے قطروں کو بدل بدل کر (باری باری) استعمال کریں۔ کھانسی کے دوروں کی شدت اور تعدد میں کمی آنے کے بعد (جو عام طور پر ۲ سے ۳ دنوں میں ہو جاتی ہے) دوا ہر ۲ گھنٹے بعد دیں۔کالی کھانسی کے بعد ہونے والی عام نزلاتی علامات کے علاج کے لیے، دن میں ۴ سے ۶ بار تھوڑے سے پانی میں ۱۰ سے ۱۵ قطرے یا شربت کا ایک چھوٹا چمچ دیں۔شدید کھانسی (پھیپھڑوں کی نالیوں کی سوزش) اور حلق و آواز کے ڈبے کی سوزش: ہر ۲ سے ۳ گھنٹے بعد ۱۰ سے ۱۵ قطرے یا شربت کا ایک چھوٹا چمچ لیں۔یہ دوا ہر کوئی استعمال کر سکتا ہے، یہاں تک کہ شیر خوار بچے بھی، جنہیں ترجیحاً غیر مائع (ٹھوس یا نیم ٹھوس) غذا دی جانی چاہیے۔

It treats rhinopharyngitis (inflammation of the nasal and pharyngeal mucosa), including bronchitis and whooping cough at all stages.
It is an effective expectorant for chronic bronchitis, bronchial asthma, and fits of coughing in phthisis.
Directions For Use
Whooping cough: In the beginning of the treatment frequent doses, every 1/2-1 hour 10 drops in some water, or one teaspoon of syrup.
It is advisable to alternate from hour to hour the cough syrup and the cough drops. After attenuation of the graveness and frequency of the fits of coughing (generally in 2-3 days) take the medicine every 2 hours.
In the treatment of non-specific catarrhs, following whooping cough, take 4-6 times daily 10-15 drops in some water, or one teaspoon of syrup.
Acute bronchitis and laryngo-pharyngitis:
Every 2-3 hours 10-15 drops or one teaspoon of syrup.
This medicine may be taken by everybody, even by babies, to whom a non-liquid diet should preferably be given.
